This month we have live on stage-
South Wales recording artist Skamma aka Skamzini first started making music over ten years ago, perfecting and developing his skills in his bedroom before hitting pirate radio to gain experience. In 2005 he started out with the well respected crew Squid Ninjaz and shared stages with the likes of Task Force, Skinnyman, Black Twang, Mystro and many others. Since then he has been hard on his grind, featuring on Don’t Flop as well as featuring on Mudmowth’s album ‘Sledgehammer Kisses’ on the massive track ‘Mad Tight’ alongside Sonnyjim.
Skamma is a versatile artist and made moves in other genres as well as Hip-Hop. His track ‘Genik Riddim’ hit number one in the Juno Download charts when it was released on US label Slit Jockey Records which is run by DJ Starky, as well as getting support from BBC 1Xtra. Skamma also featured on DJ Stagga’s dubstep anthem ‘Sik As Sin’ which has clocked over half a million hits on You Tube. Skamma has diversity, versatility and an open minded approach to music that has built a strong fanbase.
More recently Skamma hooked up with DJ Stagga once again for his new single ‘Bassline Flex’ which has been released on Terry Hooligan’s Bass-Win label. The track won a competition called Fametube where it came first over 1500 entries. Skamma is also part of Sticky Lemons, a drum & bass crew, and he has performed alongside the likes of Nicky Blackmarket, Brockie, MC Det, Bassman, Bryan G, Shabba D and many more.

Soleheaven reppin it raw yet again with the Hip Hop street sneaker fashion collaboration!

Soleheaven:
We’re super excited to announce “Fresh Pair”…its been such a dope project to work on. We’re very proud of the final product.

Every spring we like to hook up with an all-star musical collective to produce an exclusive piece of new music.
This year Smoove produced the music and Jehst & Micall Parknsun laid down the sneaker inspired lyrics.

Last year saw us team up with DJ DSK & Mystro for the remix of Eric B & Rakim “I Know you got soul”
The music video received well over 40,000 views, and was played on BBC 1xtra.

The initial inspiration for this years track was Snoop & Pharrell “Fresh Pair of Panties”
We wanted a feel good track with a lazy vocal style.

Lyrically this is brilliant. Jehst recounts his personal streetwear history. From rockin’ Timberlands, and super sized tee’s, all the way in his current addiction to Nike Blazers.
Micall Parknsun’s verse picks up the daily hazards of wearing prized kicks, and the pure heat that people Instagram, but never wear outside the house!

We have used the same creative team to produce the video. Nick Light as director and Steven Aitchson as director of photography. Its a strong team and we are building a creative family to work on all our projects.

This a track that your audience will easily relate to. Its perfect for the May bank holiday vibes.

PARENTAL ADVISORY: EXPLICIT LYRICS!
