Mzansi Cymru: Torchbearers.
On 3rd December, 2011 unsuspecting Christmas shoppers got a big surprise at the Wales Millennium Centre. Over 70 people spontaneously burst into song and dance in this awesome Flash Mob, marking the sale of tickets for the Torchbearers (coming to the Donald Gordon Theatre in July 2012). This is a must see!
Mzansi Cymru is a major arts project spearheaded by Valleys Kids, that will link the people and communities of the South Wales Valleys and the township of Langa in Cape Town, South Africa. This will culminate in a large scale theatre performance in the Wales Millennium Centre as part of Wales’ Cultural Olympiad happening alongside the London Olympics in 2012.
